The Academic school "Business and Management" was established in 1993 as one of the structural divisions of Kainar University, which implements educational programs of higher professional and postgraduate education and is focused on training specialists in the areas of bachelor's degree: economics, finance, accounting and auditing, management and master's degree: economics, management, finance.
Well-known scientists of the republic stood at the origins of the formation of the faculty. They are the authors of textbooks and methodological manuals: Temirgaliev B.B., Koval V.I., Yerzhanov A.B., Selemeneva L.Ya. and others.
The first graduation of students took place in 1997 and the faculty was called International Economic Relations (IEO).
Over the years, the department was headed by Ph.D. Tleuberdina K.A., Ph.D. Diyarova R.K., Ph.D. Nesipbayev R., Ph.D. Sadykov N.T., Ph.D., Asangaliev K., Ph.D., Professor Syzdykova Kulyash Shaimoldenovna, Ph.D., Associate Professor Abdibekov Saken Ualikanovich., Ph.D. in Economics, senior lecturer Lapbaeva Sanikul Shapigatovna, M.E., Associate professor Abzhalelova Sholpan Rahimzhanovna.

The Academic School "Business and Management" is staffed with highly qualified personnel with extensive teaching experience and work experience, we employ a highly professional, creative, well-coordinated teaching staff, organically combining educational and research activities.
Since 2014, students of economic specialties have been actively participating in the educational auctions "Exchange Simulator" of IRBIS Financial Markets Information Agency LLP (have certificates, diplomas), take an active part in the work of the investment club under the guidance of Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor K. Syzdykova.
The academic school "Business and Management" provides good, high-quality knowledge that allows our graduates to take a worthy place in the enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The learning process focuses on innovative approaches and entrepreneurial activities. We invest students with aspiration, critical and analytical thinking. We are constantly working to improve and update the training programs in accordance with the requirements of the time and professional standards.
At the same time, students gain fundamental knowledge, learn to think outside the box: broadly, creatively and critically – to find new ideas and acquire life skills. They reinforce theory with practice in order to successfully move up the career ladder.
It should be noted that graduates of the school are in demand in the labor market, 90 percent of them work in their specialty. The school is proud of its graduates, many of them work in large national companies, the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, commercial banks of various levels, financial authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, insurance companies, pension fund, state revenue authorities, customs system, regional and city administrative structures, are engaged in entrepreneurial and teaching activities.
The Academic school "Business and Management" has created all conditions for continuing education. Graduates of the bachelor's school can continue their education in the master's program.
