Internships for graduates

February 5

Today, Q University hosted a meeting that opened new horizons for 3rd-4th year students of the Jurisprudence educational program. The management of the Almaty City Police Department came to discuss with future lawyers their career prospects, employment conditions, and internship opportunities for graduates.

The Q University Academy strives to provide students with not only theoretical knowledge, but also practical experience. Academic practice begins in the 2nd year, and industrial practice in the 3rd and 4th years allows students to apply the knowledge they have gained in real work conditions. The meeting with representatives of the Police Department was another step towards training qualified specialists who can make a significant contribution to the development of the law enforcement system of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, various aspects of the future professional activities of graduates were discussed. Representatives of the Police Department spoke in detail about the internship for graduates, which is an excellent opportunity for young professionals to start their careers. The issues of social security and housing benefits were discussed, which is especially important for young employees who are just starting their professional career.

The students actively participated in the discussion, asking questions about the required physical parameters for candidates, educational requirements, as well as how moral, cultural and religious aspects are taken into account in the work of law enforcement agencies. The questions asked showed a high level of interest in the students’ future profession and the desire to receive the most complete information for successful employment.

At the end of the event, Vice-Rector for Academic Work Kulanova S.Sh., Vice-Rector for Research Yesetova S.K., and Director of the Academic School “Law” Kopbayev D.Z. expressed gratitude to the representatives of the Police Department for the information provided and presented them with memorable gifts. This became a symbol of strengthening ties between the academic community and law enforcement agencies, as well as confirmation of readiness for further cooperation in the interests of training qualified legal personnel for Kazakhstan.

Such meetings not only contribute to the professional and personal growth of students, but also make a significant contribution to the development of the country’s education system and law enforcement system, creating conditions for the training of highly qualified specialists ready to meet the challenges of our time.
