The Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is a collegial governing body of the University, operating on the principles of unity of command and collegiality.

The Board of Trustees interacts with the University administration, local executive bodies, relevant government authorities, and other individuals and/or legal entities.

The mission of the Board of Trustees is to promote the effective functioning and development of the University, enhance the role of “Q University” in the educational and social spheres, improve the material and technical infrastructure, and provide financial support for University activities, ensuring more effective cooperation with territorial governing bodies, institutions, and organizations/enterprises.

The main objectives of the Board of Trustees are:

The composition of the Board of Trustees is formed from individuals representing local representative, executive, and law enforcement bodies, representatives of employers and social partners, representatives of non-profit organizations (if any), and philanthropists (if any). Board members perform their duties on a voluntary basis and organize their activities according to an approved work plan for the academic year.

The powers of a member of the Board of Trustees include participating in the development and implementation of measures for the University’s advancement, attending meetings of the University’s Academic Council and its subdivisions, and engaging in the work of other University governance bodies.

Meetings of the Board of Trustees are held at least once a year in accordance with the approved work plan for the respective academic year, either in person or online. Decisions of the Board of Trustees are made by open vote and require a majority of the members present.
